Here's my revised sitemap:

I have do some little add ons and adjustment on the AHR (Asian Heritage Row) sitemap, well as the selling point is to get customers to know it is an entertaining places to enjoy so reservations and booking pages is very important. On the other hand I found that having an introduction for Asian Heritage is also a very important keypoint as well for the new comers to the website who are not actually knows what is AHR. While experience customers would like to look on booking on the site and also getting news and new feeds.

My initial idea ...

Homepage - Head page with a slideshow pictures of introduction, news and new events (properly using JQuery)

Event page - Using slideshow for image + text as well for more interactive visual and more selection (an image box filled with short info of the particular event) on the bottom which can be expandable or change for future updates, on the side will have dates and breakdown with several issues on it and an extra calenda selection for tracking newest or old event list .

Article page - Remain simple and typo arrangement instead of fancy interaction because to consider about comfortable reading on each issues of article

Here's my moodboard for Asian Heritage Row (picture below), the overall theme is quite hard for me because I need to mix the luxury classy look and also create the techno clubbing style in the website to show it real characteristic ... but colors wise I pick brownish and black as my web theme to suite the cooperate identity and also the feeling of classy entertaining

Seriously, I have no idea what Asian Heritage Row it is because it have so many mix ; restaurant, pub, clubbing, art gallery, shops, events and so on. However it mainly emphasis on pub and clubbing so I try to look on several pub and clubbing site.

1st - Euphoria (www.euphoria.com.my)

I classified as competitors and also as a beautiful website. The overall website design match the feel of clubbing and pub. Besides fancy rollover effects the overall label is neat and simple compare to the Asian Heritage Row website.

2nd - Quattro (www.clubquattro.com)

Another one which is Quattro, it has nicer typography which match the techno feel of clubbing musics and environment, the overall style is much more comfortable in visual and neat layout for differentiate the buttons and reading article.

3rd - Zouk (www.zoukclub.com.my)

Zouk is another one with beautiful and fancy design, it packs up more words and article. Graphical background is very nice and the arrangement is pretty well done as well.

4th - Clubplanet (www.clubplanet.com)

Clubplanet is simple but very consistant and nice arrange website without fancy overall effects.

User Feedback .... about my E-Card

Hi there, I would like to share about some user evaluation here so I need you guys feedback about my E-Card Icon and Buttons

My E-Card was following the theme as Hari Raya however I wanna put into a new type of design which coming in more modern nor high-tech looks but at the same time with some non-statical look for the icons

So here the question coming through....

In your opinion which of the Icon Design which more suite for the taste as the "cool" or "silverish" theme on Selamat Hari Raya E-Card?

Masters Of The Flowchart

Hi there, I'm recently research about the flowchart as it was the part of my assignment.

Flowchart is something like you do in programming, simple as that like you making a "system charts" which reacts the users reaction. Hmm, well like in troubleshooting or perhaps "Help" guide which has an interface system which produce an option of your question or problem and exchanging or given a solution, it comes with a flow like example in troubleshoot:

Internet Network Doesn't Connected?

-> (1) Did Modem turned on?

-> (1)On -> Did the ISP Server get connected?

-> (1a) Yes -> Recheck your ISP Server

-> (1b) No -> Get connect to your ISP Network by our modem

-> (2)Off -> Kindly turned on the modem and waiting for response

(Following)

-> (1) Did your Modem DSL Lights On?

-> (1) Yes -> Check your PPPoE server, make sure it has been turned on.

-> (2) Blinking -> Your PPPoE server was waiting for response, kindly waiting for a seconds.

-> (3) No -> Your PPPoE server was shut you need to turn it on.

Well although it doesn't look like flow chart however what I want is digging the meaning out =.=

Anyway, flowchart reacts the possibilities of solving or reacting your problem nor question and now:

Why do you want to use flowchart in your mobile interface design & screen interface design? How will it help your users to meet the interactive goals?

As the answer, Flowchart is the golden rule to keeping out the possible solution for your incoming problem. Also an important part to having the Flowchart is also setting down your priority of your option, what settings is your primary priority? secondary priority? It is some sort of better systematic way to brainstorming your interface + interactive design. There's also to make a pyramid chart in your flow as I seen in the video, set as your important grading. Mobile Interface Design + Screen Interface design is definitely a must to setting up a "Flowchart" because to make a better settings on your design you need a "Flowchart" to emphasize your possibility on your option and solution.

How will it help the users meet the interactive goals? Well... it sure help and that's the way to make the interactive goals. It just like an attachable ability for your ideal and people option. People sees the problem and suggest so they "attach" a "suggestion" or "question" and you "attach" the "solution" or "answer"

Today I discover the film 2012 and I felt many ideals of people thinking about the end of the word.

Here's the coming with the people mind of "Maybe"

There's a fact that archaeology and science and religion has prove the "disaster" in 2012 12 December "maybe" happen.

In this world, there many of creatures with own ability.

Human declares the intelligent but the species has given overflow power in the natural cycle.

Words is formed and become powerful on many thing.

Think about how mighty a word can be, did a "maybe" can cause end of the world? or did a "maybe" end of the world is not in the time?

Spiritual Powers and System is ruled by the words we said nor is an important role of changing the things into good or bad.

This world, anything are nothing perfectly correct and nothing perfectly wrong. Just the spiritual of the human behavior, possible and miracle were formed with "if" and "maybe. The fact will never be a fact "If" you have the will to change the fact, the fate is being setting up and you can't changing it but "Maybe" get you will will for change.

Think about the world will judge by death is ended, the "If" and "Maybe" has proven the strength of possible, the strength of spiritual and the will of control are actually formed. Even the think is follow with the fate, even you have died with the following fate but as long you keep the will the "If" and the "Maybe" will become "Changes" and it will always become "Happiness of Neutral" just like the cycle in animal chain.

Love Korean, Italian, Shi Chuan, Hu Nan, Hakka, Guangdong, Shanxi, Japanese, English Cuisine ...... I'm also love to experiment to food like ... Nasi Lemak Sushi.. Kuay Teow + Fried Rice ... Potato Chips + Fried Rice and so on which can forms tasty food but weird method XD

8. Classic Music Freak

Love symphony, loves piano's (Lisst is my favor ><) , cello, flute but dislike violin because the sharpness voice O~O

I'm also getting to fall in love with some symphony and piano soundtracks in anime, drama, and games (especially Japan games and drama) which has these kind of classical music soundtrack

9. Gadget Freak

I like gadget actually .... like cellphones, computer stuff, printers, camera, high technology gears and so on .... but I'm only felt interested ... not like to buy for show off nor collection

10. Interior Lovers Freak

I like the beauty of the interior design, lightings design and also the furniture I'm also get interested ... so that I usually get in IKEA once or twice every two week to see the design

That is why ... almost 80% in my room where IKEA Furniture .... XD

Finally Comes to 1st Year 2nd Semester Break, it's time to say bye bye for our only CD0901-3 class and some of the nice fellow =3

Right now Holidays ... well is great day for my to relax and hardcore gaming ... =w=

Talk about gaming, right now I would like to show some of the gaming peripherals as I'm a big Logitech Gaming Gear Collectors Fans =w= ...

Lets say why Gaming Gear shines through the others, why some of the people wanted to pay more for the Gaming Gear rather than the normal mouse and keyboard?

Well ... Go through further, gaming gear is pretty similar than the normal computer peripherals however the same theory as the DSLR camera, these high-end devices where shines their advance functionality which a pro-gamer's wanted. Like Logitech, Razer and Steel Series is a hot brand of gaming peripherals which ever you went inside the computer store, you will probably see it =3

So now what are the gaming gear shines?

How are they compare through the normal computer peripherals devices?

1) Macro

Macro, is an usefulness tools by offering a programmable keys which gives you the ability to assign the keys you want, which is pretty useful when u are playing MMORPG games (especially Worlf of Warcraft), because you have many skills and keystrokes which opens your inventory or settings so a QWERTY keys will not fit you enough for doing a fast access or combo, Macro's key were help you to take over the job which easy for you to setting up quickly or a more comfortable shortcut keys on your settings.

Gaming Keyboard were features with addition Macro Keys which allows to assign any key you want in your Programmable Keys Button which gives these keyboards a big buy for serious MMORPG gamers, for Logitech G15 and G19 (also G13) were features with LCD Screen which able to user to read extra infomation through the Monochrome LCD Screen.

Gamepad and Gameboard were common in use for Action 2D Games (Like Dragonica) and some action flying (like helicopter or jet games) gaming

2) Precision + Speed

Another one Precision + Speed, know what am I talking about? Is the gaming mouse which commonly seeing around the computer shop.

Gaming Mouse were offer higher DPI and FPS than the normal home or office mouse, not only that they also highly offer DPI changes and customable mouse buttons. With these mouse, they are able to do high speed performance on RTS games which the benefits of High DPI settings while extreme precision on FPS which the benefits of the FPS and Lowest DPI settings.

3) Virtual Sound

Yet another important role of the gaming gear is the surround sound and precision listening. Well Gaming Headset were gains the great advantages of precision sound from left to right and front to back which gives to feel the whole surrounded sound inside the games. However, most Gaming Headset just be great on gaming only, the quality of the sounds might not be great as the non-gaming headphone.

However there's also comes out the speakers with gaming purposes however, mosts gamer where highly recommend for headphone because it's cheaper than Gaming Speakers and it works much greater.

Say No for AUTO! Learn some basic photo technique as ABC =3

Well I have discover some of my friends doesn't know to use the camera functionality into maximum, well probably is all reliable on the camera "Auto" mode so whenever picture they takes will goes for AUTOmatic settings however in certain situation you will realize that your picture are blurry, many noises and problems ... The main reason is you always use on AUTO !! Yes AUTO is easy or you no need to settings anything on it but ... terms of picture quality, AUTO does not guarantee to give you a best result! So no matter you are Compact and DSLR Camera users, lets have a easy ABC on get knows your camera =3

Well Here's an example menu's from a compact camera, the camera I pick is my Olympus Compact Camera =3

You can see the menu settings which is shows the WB (White Balance), ISO (Light Sensitivity), Drive Mode, Metering Mode and Digital Zooms ...

Well lets start from the WB (White Balance)

WB is the settings which gives you to adjust the color temperature, while most of the camera were did good WB in auto mode but you can also customize yourself by choosing the color temperature/WB mode.

ISO (Light Sensitivity), the most important settings for understand it =3

ISO means the light sensitivity and also the image quality of the picture.

The higher ISO will gives you a brighter image on low light condition without using any flash but by exchange the benefits, you will lose your image quality which means more noise you will get if you capture by higher ISO ...

The lower ISO will gives you perfect image quality but getting lower light sources so you will need a flash or flashgun to fill up the lights and sometimes you will get bad flash image when you shot an object in closer distance.

Here's the example between Low and High ISO from my Olympus

To conclude,

The lower ISO, the originally or I can said the best image quality you will get but lower the light source you have.

The higher ISO, the originally or I can said the lost of the image quality you will get but higher the light source you have.

For most of the non-premium compact camera's were fixed the ISO together with the shutter speed and aperture but maybe you can prove me wrong as nowadays the compact camera especially newer model all will have aperture and shuttle speed settings. So what I mean that if your camera does not have the adjustments of the shuttle speed and aperture, most of the time your ISO will judge your shuttle speed and aperture which I believe =_=

So for my compact camera Olympus mu780 and my dad Canon 880IS Compact Camera where not able to adjust the shuttle speed and aperture manually. So the ISO you put in lower settings will gives a lower shuttle speed which means if you takes a motion picture in low ISO, yours camera will capture it in LOW shuttle speed

Now here's the settings between low ISO and high ISO motion image I capture ....

Low ISO will capture the image slower so if your object is moving you can obviously see's the motion blur of the image

While High ISO will have more freezing capability of your movement even your object is moving very fast ^_^

So a tripod is recommend if you wanna capture image by using low ISO especially in Low Light Condition, Tripod or Monopod is your best pal for avoid the camera shake!!!!

Drive Mode ....

Well simple as that is the shotting mode, like single shot, and continues shot as for drive mode on all the digital camera. Single Shot mode is just like normal shot we uses while continues shot is rapidly shooting ...

Well someone would ask will Single and Continues Shot gives the same picture quality?

The answer is YES and NO ... Because it really depends the camera you use, but some camera will drop down image quality if you uses the continues shot, for compact camera they mostly offer 2 types of continues shot which is continues and Hi-continues shooting mode, normally a compact camera will offer a low FPS continues shooting but Hi-continues settings were offering a high FPS continues shooting like Semi-Pro DSLR Camera but in terms of image, the size of pixels image was greatly reduced.

So choose the right drive mode is the way of choice =)

Lastly the Metering Mode ...

Well commonly there's 3 metering mode which is the Multi-Segment or ESP, Center Weight and Spot mode.

By the way what is metering mode? Metering Mode is to give you the ability for adjusting the lighting position on your image...

Nowadays metering mode were almost in auto which gives a better and easier control of the light sources, to compare the old days those photographer will need to take down the notes for metering to adjust the lights =/

Okey right now I would like to explain the usage for 3 modes,

Multi-Segment

Fully auto metering mode which automatically controls all the light flows, it's better to used in all situation but the best for landscape and outdoors photo ! =D

Center Weight

Focus the light sources at the center, which good for portrait photos which you like to focus the lighting on the center of the portrait.

Spot

Spot focus the light spot of the picture, which means it mainly focus the lighting in the tiny area or whichever the AF point is active. Suitable for shotting in spot-lit performance, picking a bright lighting area.

Additional Funs and Features

Creative Filter is also a great tools for customize your image, for some camera (mostly compact camera) will have these kind of features, so why just make it AUTO all the way? Play more with creative filter and you will have some fantastic result on it >=D

For me ... well I mostly use Pin-Hole creative mode on my photos especially snapping the photo during night time =3
